Ember Roast started in a garage on the east side of Austin with a cast-iron drum roaster and a stubborn belief: that coffee could be honest. No shortcuts, no blends designed by committee, no beans chosen for price over character.
We roast every batch by hand in our open workshop on Oakwood Ave, sourcing directly from small farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala. We know the families who grow our coffee. We taste every harvest. And we roast with the kind of care you can taste in the cup.
Today, Ember Roast is a gathering place for the neighborhood -- a slow morning in a fast city. We are proud to serve Austin, one careful cup at a time.
